Look before we start, Matts my friend, but no drink culture. Here in Ireland we have always traditional had a drop with the pint. Which is a shot of whiskey, then you drink the pint. But in typical USA fashion it always has to be bigger.

Ok, a little twist from my dear cousins from Ballindine County, Mayo. Years ago on a pub crawl in the ol’ sod, with the Kilkenny brothers, I was introduced to a simular drink which you might want to give a try. Everything in your recipe is exactly the same except you add a wee shot of Irish Mist to the mix. It’s called a “Trip to Ireland” and I’m still recovering from my multiple journeys last Wed. St. Patrick’s Day here in DC. The typical reaction, “Wow, that tastes like chocolate milk! OOOppps, now it doesn’t…Cheers ~ Mike Larkin
